How to Install Adobe Camera Raw ACR Presets

*New Update : Adobe Lightroom CC Classic 7.3 Presets ( *.lrtemplate ) now change and merge with ACR into one presets file XMP format ( *.xmp )

HOW TO INSTALL LIGHTROOM PRESET / ACR PRESETS ON ADOBE LIGHTROOM CC CLASSIC 7.3 &  PHOTOSHOP CC :

• Navigate in your hard drive :

Windows  :  Local Disk ( C: ) /Users/myName/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Camera Raw/Settings – (make sure you show the hidden folder from the explorer option )

Mac :  (user)/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Camera Raw/Settings —

• Paste into this folder ( Inside Settings Folder )
• Open Lightroom presets ready to use. If you want to change the folder preset name, you can rename the folder only on Camera Raw Filter inside Photoshop CC
• Open Photoshop CC ( find Camera Raw Filter under Filter Tab ) –Click the Presets icon tab, and the presets are ready to use.

HOW TO INSTALL ACR PRESETS ON ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CS 6 ( OLD VERSION ) :

1. After you download the presets in a ZIP-file, extract them to a folder on your hard drive.
2. Locate in your hard drive :

Windows  :  Local Disk ( C: ) /Users/myName/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Camera Raw/Settings — (make sure you show the hidden folder from the explorer option )

Mac :  (user)/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Camera Raw/Settings —

3. Copy all *.xmp file into this folder ( Old version do not support folders copy )
4. Open DNG or RAW file via Adobe Photoshop then seek for the presets tab icon, the Presets are ready to use.

JUST IN CASE YOU FOUND YOUR SELF IN LOST IN GETTING THE ACR PRESETS FOLDER

This is the alternative way to seek up.

1. Open your RAW or DNG photo via Adobe Photoshop, then click the presets icon    Click the tiny icon on the corner of preset tab and simply click the “Load Setting ” menu

2. Then a new window will pop up ..

3.  And that is where the folder location that you can copy the xmp presets into..

4. Then the presets are ready to use.. Enjoy..
